A bunch of people, including Bryan Alvarez, are saying that Kairi is returning at Backlash. I believe this is true. However, after Kairi beats the shit out of Asuka at Backlash, I think Kairi will be announcing that she is leaving WWE, in order to return to Japan, the next night on RAW. I think TKO have told Triple H etc to finish the Kairi/Asuka story, in response to the intense fan uproar about Kairi’s WWE release, which left the wrestling world stunned – and I think they have offered Kairi a tonne of money to make just the aforementioned two appearances. I haven’t heard this from anyone – it’s just a feeling I have.
