Candy Crush was a professional wrestling stable and tag team consisting of members Kairi as (Kairi Hojo), Chelsea (better known as Chelsea Diamond), and Koguma.
The Candy Crush team made their debut on May 3, 2015, at Stardom Golden Week Stars 2015 – (Night 1), where they secured the vacant Artist Of Stardom Championship. Subsequently, the championship was vacated in October 2015 following Koguma’s decision to leave the group, marking the conclusion of the team’s sole title reign.
On June 20, 2015, at Stardom Galaxy Stars 2015 – Night 2, Candy Crush collaborated with Melissa to achieve a victory in a tag team match against Mayu Iwatani, Reo Hazuki, and Takumi Iroha. On July 19, during Stardom Galaxy Stars 2015 – Night 6, Candy Crush (comprising Chelsea and Kairi Hojo) defeated Mayu Iwatani and Reo Hazuki. The team achieved further success by winning a tag team match against Hudson Envy and Kris Wolf at Stardom X Stardom 2015 – Night 2. During the fourth night of the Stardom 5STAR Grand Prix 2015 Tour, Candy Crush competed to a draw against Kaori Yoneyama and Sendai Sachiko. On the October 4, 2015, edition of Stardom, Candy Crush suffered their first defeat at the hands of Dark Angel and Mayu Iwatani.
Candy Crush disbanded in 2016.
Candy Crush was also the name of a photobook featuring Kairi Hojo and Chelsea. Released in the summer of 2015, it contains 57 pages of photos, cost 2,500 yen and was sold on the official STARDOM website. It featured some risqué images that are considered PG-13 – including revealing outfits and a few topless pictures with strategically placed hands, all presented in a professional manner.
In 3 of the above photo’s, it says ‘CANDY CRASH’, as opposed to ‘CANDY CRUSH’. I’m guessing this was to avoid trademark infingement or something.
