Reminder: I am not Kairi
Disclaimer: this post is not very well written.
My favorite comedians: 1) Rich Hall; 2) Greg Giraldo (R.I.P); and 3) Omid Djalili.
My favorite movies: I really like the John Wick movies; the Jason Bourne movies (including the extremely underrated The Bourne Legacy); the Alien movie franchise (although I don’t like the new Alien: Earth TV show); the first Predator movie (featuring Arnie); District 9; Man On Fire; The Matrix trilogy (not including the dreadful The Matrix Resurrections); No Country For Old Men; Bird Box (I think Bird Box is very underrated); Fire in the Sky (1993); Gladiator (2000); Hannibal.
Regarding what movies I hate, I absolutely hate the ‘The Fast and the Furious’ movies. They’re so cringe in every way.
My favorite video games and other random gaming info: I’ve been a gamer since around 1991. I’m a big fan of retro-style 2d beat-em-ups like the recent Double Dragon: Gaiden. I also have put a lot of time into the recent Tribute-developed beat-em-ups Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and Marvel Cosmic Invasion. Those 3 aforementioned beat-em-ups all have amazing gameplay, but are small games with not much content. Onto racing games: there was a PS1 racing game series in the 90s called TOCA Touring Car. I had TOCA 1 and 2. It took me a long time to realize this, but those TOCA Touring Car racing games on the PS1 were the best racing games I ever played. I wish I could still play them. As mentioned elsewhere on this site, I am very fond of the 1995 arcade game Tekken 2 (although the PS1 port was identical, I prefer the arcade version, just because it’s the arcade version). In the 1990s, I was obsessed with the Street Fighter games and other fighting games, though I was never very good at them. On my Xbox Series X, I have lots of 90s Street Fighter games on the Capcom Arcade Stadium and Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium game collections, and I use the ‘Invincibility’ add-on to be invincible because those 90s arcade games were so brutally difficult. Not to brag, but I’ve had every popular console ever released in the west, except the Nintento SNES, prior to the PS5/Switch generation. Fun fact: when Mortal Kombat 2 released on the SNES and Genesis (MegaDrive) around 1994, I was extremely jealous of the SNES having the better port of MK2 (I had a MegaDrive aka Genesis, and not a SNES). When I had an N64, I played the AKI-developed WCW and WWF wrestling games a LOT. These days, I play the MMOFPS Destiny 2 more than any other game, but that’s mainly to collect loot and cosmetics. Oh, and I avoid turn-based games like the plague (I was not a fan of Final Fantasy 7 etc). I don’t like arcade sticks very much as I find them awkward to use, I much prefer using a game controller. I have yet to really embrace mobile games, to be honest. The only mobile games I’ve played are the Kingdom Rush games, which are tower defense games, and a quiz game called Trivia Crack.
