Hmmmm….in the last few days, in the Okada vs Darby post, I said that Darby would be wrestling PAC after he faces Okada, but I was wrong about that. Darby actually wrestled Pac last Saturday. I misunderstood some info I read about the PAC vs Darby bout. And, apparently, Darby has now been announced to be wrestling Konosuke Takeshita, this upcoming Dynamite on Wednesday – Takeshita replacing Okada who has travelled to Japan for a personal reason. Well, Darby vs Takeshita is sure to be a barnburner of a match, because both Darby and Konosuke are two of the very, very best wrestlers on the planet. I do wish Darby was facing Okada instead, though. And, to be honest, I am pretty sure that this will be a blessing in disguise, as, when Darby does inevitably face Okada in the future, they will have a lot more time to plan the match, than they would have had if the match had gone ahead as originally planned this Wednesday. So, I am really, really hoping that Darby vs Okada happens at the next AEW pay-per-view, Double or Nothing, on May 28, because, as I said about 4 days ago, Okada vs Darby is a true dream match, and, accordingly, it deserves to be on a PPV.
