Since the Head Of The Table, the Tribal Chief, the Pirate Princess was released by WWE in April of this year, there has been virtually nothing to write about with regards to her, as she has simply been out of the public eye since then. However, Kairi-chan’s WWE 90-day non-compete clause has just expired, and she has wasted no time in sending out a tweet, published less than 24-hours ago (which can be seen below), where she teases a return by saying ‘How far I’ll go’. Kairi sports a really nice outfit in the photo, and she is stood next to bad-ass motorcycle. That’s a dope photo right there!
Mina Shirakawa subsequently responded to Kairi’s tweet, saying she ‘can’t wait for what’s next’.
I’ve said multiple times on this website that I think Kairi will be making her big return at AEW All In on August 30, in London, and I still think that is going to happen. I think that, even if Kairi has yet to communicate with AEW/Tony, she will be wanting for All In to be the place where she makes her return, as doing so will certainly generate much, much more media buzz than if she appeared elsewhere (she’d probably end up trending on X and everything as a result), and generating more media buzz means Kairi becomes more famous, which means she makes more money down the line. I’m not saying that Kairi is a greedy mercenary – I’m simply saying that, when you have an opportunity to make a tonne of extra cash, you take it, because with that extra money you make, you can do something good with it, like start a charity or something. And Kairi is a good-hearted person, and I think that that money is better in Kairi’s bank account than in 95% of the world’s other people’s bank accounts, because most people are selfish, and Kairi is not selfish. I think that Tony Khan will also be wanting to have Kairi debut at All In in about 37 days, because All In is AEW’s WrestleMania, their biggest event of the year, and having big names debut at All In will only enhance the All In brand.
Regarding how Kairi will make her return, I’ve said multiple times on this site that Kairi will be saving Mina Shirakawa from a beatdown at All In (black outfit, black balaclava, hard cam face reveal and all), and Mina’s tweet today only reinforces that notion, and I’m positive that that is exactly how Kairi-chan’s return is going to play out. But, about a week ago, I realized that, if Kairi saves Riho from a beatdown, and forms a team with her, the team could be called ‘Ri-Ri’. I think that would be a good idea. But, back to the subject of Mina Shirakawa, months ago, I saw a photo of Kairi posing with Mina, and they both looked very fit and swole and nice and everything, but looking at that photo, I noticed that Kairi’s and Mina’s physiques are very similar looking, like really really similar looking (I’ve posted two photos of them together, below, and I am referring to the photo where Mina is wearing a white top). It’s almost as if they are sisters or something. Seriously. So, I have to say I think Tony will put Kairi and Mina together because they would clearly look really good as a team, visually; they’re both Japanese; and they’re clearly friends too.
About an hour ago, I thought about if maybe the motorcycle was an item of significance for what she will be doing when she returns. The bike made me think of that military-esque jeep that the Death Riders drove in one of their entrances (or maybe they used the jeep more than once – maybe they use it all the time, I’m not sure as I’ve only seen like one match featuring the Death Riders). Because that retro jeep is kind of a World War 2 era vehicle, and that motorcycle does bear a very slight resemblance to some motorcycles of the World War 2 era. So, if Kairi debuted at All In, then immediately turned heel and joined the Death Riders, wouldn’t that be some shit. The whole world-wide pro-wrestling fan community wouldn’t be able to believe what they were seeing.
Y’know what…..I wouldn’t be surprised if, after Kairi debuts at All In, Kairi and Mina, later that night, both turn heel and join the Death Riders. That would get a lot of eyeballs on AEW.
